Prof. Abdul Rauf Roofi is a famous Pakistani Sana Khawan. He is the leading Sana Khawan and mostly known for his Naats, “Aany walo ye to batao”, ‘Shah-e-Madina”, “Meetha Meetha hai mere Muhammad ka nam”. Many of his albums have been released yet and many more to be.

Prof. Abdul Rauf Roofi has started reciting Naats from 1990s, and in very short time, earned much Love. He was interested in learning Instruments like Dafli, Arab Percussion Drums and Pakistani Tabla during his Naats. He has a melodious Voice, that’s why he has a huge fan following in Pakistan.

Some of his released albums are “Pati Pati Phool Phool”, “Ausaaf e Hameeda”, “Hum to Gulab hogaye”.

Due to his devotion to the Naats, he has been awared with Pride of Perfomance award in 2005.
