Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali is very renowned Pakistani Qurra' (Quran Reciter). He has been recognized and famous in all over the globe, specially in South Asia he is being called as the voice of South Asia.

Biography

Syed Sadaqat Ali was born in Punjab province of Pakistan. From a very early age. he started to participate in local Qirra' competitions and then made his way to represent Pakistan in an international Qirra' competitions as well. He has appeared in over 200 contests worldwide.

His Career

He has been working as a Reciter / Qari for the provincial assembly of Pakistan. He is the chairman of the Saut ul Qura International, Pakistan. He also worked in both Radio and Television Pakistan Corporation as a Qari. He is the member of the selection Board for Pakistan Broadcasting corporation. He has also represented Pakistan in an international forums. He is the member of Niqabat ul Qura, Egypt. He was a pupil of internationally famous Qari Abdul Basit of Egypt. Two times he gained second position for Pakistan in International Husn-e-Qirra competitions held in Iran. Then he became the first ever Pakistani Qari to win the first position in the International Qirra competition held in Bangladesh.

Awards and Achievements

He has won so many awards and recognitions over the years which include the biggest civil award of Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence) awarded by President of Pakistan. He also got an award of Pride of performance by the President of Pakistan. He has achieved so many things in his life but he got pvery famous for his program on the PTV named "Aap Quran Parhen" (let us read the Quran) that was specially aimed to help children with their reading and pronunciation skills. This program was a huge success and was replayed heap of times.
